History

Biotone was founded in 1980 and the main headquarters of the operation is located in San Diego, California. Biotone is family run and was founded by Jean Shea, who is still currently the CEO of the company. In 2009, Jean Shea was inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame. The company has donated funds to benefit further research on the advantages of massage.

Massage Products
Biotone is best known for its line of massage products. Biotone offers different creams, lotions, oils and gels to assist the masseuse in giving a massage. You can find different massage products that are free of fragrances, nut oils and paraben. There are also hypoallergenic and organic selections. Retail versions come in smaller, 8 ounce and 16 ounce versions while spas can purchase Â½ gallon or gallon sizes.
